We've told you about the perfect Gimlet drink so I thought it was time to go ahead and re-post pictures of our secret recording space: Gimlet Studio. An, ahem, official description of the place would sound something like:
Located in an unassuming house in the suburbs of Washington DC, Gimlet Studio is the sonic playground of the Mesmers. Filled with glowing dials, gleaming microphones, and the occasional toy robot is serves as rehearsal space, recording studio, party hall, and regular tiki bar for the band.
We'll have to get a gear list together at some point.
